Job summary

ADM Protexin Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead manufacturing and packaging initiatives, improve OEE, and drive capital projects. You will partner with engineers, technicians and operators to scale efficiencies and transfer new tech to the plant.

The role emphasizes safety, Lean/Six Sigma methods, and cross-functional leadership, with on-site collaboration and growth opportunities within a global nutrition company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering is preferred; other engineering or technology fields considered.
• 3–5 years of experience in a similar role with leadership capabilities.
• Strong focus on safety and cross-functional team leadership.
• Familiar with Lean/Six Sigma and process improvement methodologies.
• Willingness to work on production floor with operators and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers on development and integration of new manufacturing and packaging designs.
• Lead projects to reduce losses and increase OEE: rates, yields, capacity, schedule attainment.
• Support tech transfer of new products and technologies to plant operations.
• Benchmark facility and develop standardized systems for optimal processes and setups.
• Serve as technical partner across site operations and external partners.
• Address capacity constraints with demand forecasts and manage a 5-year capital portfolio.
• Promote safety and drive continuous process safety improvements.
