Technical Placements Ltd is seeking a Process Technologist for a large chemical manufacturing site near Maidstone, Kent. You will oversee water and effluent treatment, ensuring safety and environmental performance while supporting production with testing and sampling across processes.

The role requires a strong background in water treatment, GMP, ISO9001/ISO14001, and robust communication skills to work with operations and QA teams.

Qualificações

• BSc or equivalent in engineering or technical field (chemistry, biology).
• COSHH knowledge and laboratory skills.
• Experience with water treatment processes and quality control.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee day-to-day activities related to incoming water and effluent treatment and maintenance.
• Test, monitor, and report stock and reject samples across processes.
• Ensure personal and chemical safety and environmental performance.
• Oversee quality, chemical safety, ordering, storage, use and system maintenance.
• Collaborate with Operations Management and shift teams to ensure QA, cost control of additives and site compliance requirements.

This site is part of a global recycling / packaging manufacturing group.

The Process Technologist will become one of a team of site specialists responsible for all activities related to water and effluent, in doing so keeping the site at the forefront of related technologies.

The Process Technologist will be accountable for Safety and Environmental performance of the water and effluent systems. Oversee the day-to-day activities relating to incoming water and effluent treatment, ordering of appropriate chemicals and maintenance.

Support production operations by testing, monitoring, and reporting stock and reject samples across a range of processes. Accountable for both personal and chemical safety and environmental performance. To oversee the day-to-day activities relating to quality, chemical safety, ordering, storage, use and system maintenance.

Working closely with the Operations Management and shift teams to ensure Quality Assurance, good cost control of additives and deliver site compliance requirements.
