This full-time position involves leading the scale-up of new products and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Food Science and previous experience in food manufacturing. Qualifications

  • A degree in Food Science or a similar technical field.
  • Previous experience in food manufacturing (FMCG), ideally in a process, development, or NPD-focused role.
  • Understanding of key food production methods such as extrusion, frying, baking, sheeting, and flavouring.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the scale-up of new products from kitchen to full-scale factory production.
  • Organising and running factory trials for NPD and EPD projects.
  • Driving continuous improvement and value engineering to enhance product quality and efficiency.
  • Working with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth implementation of changes.
  • Supporting the introduction of new technologies aligned with the Product Development Strategy.

Are you passionate about food innovation and ready to turn great ideas into real, scalable products? We're working with a leading food manufacturer to find a talented Process Technologist to help bridge the gap between the development kitchen and the factory floor.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you'll play a key part in bringing new products to life-ensuring they meet high technical and quality standards as they move from concept to launch.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading the scale-up of new products from kitchen to full-scale factory production
  • Organising and running factory trials for NPD (New Product Development) and EPD (Existing Product Development) projects
  • Driving continuous improvement and value engineering to enhance product quality and efficiency
  • Working with cross-functional teams including Technical, Operations, and Engineering to ensure smooth implementation of changes
  • Supporting the introduction of new technologies aligned with the Product Development Strategy
