Qualifications

  • Experience in chilled or ambient food manufacturing is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of factory trials and scaling-up processes.

About Our Client

This is a well-established, large organisation within the FMCG and manufacturing sector.

Job Description



  • Work closely with NPD (New Product Development), Technical, and Production teams to facilitate smooth product launches from kitchen to factory scale.


  • Conduct and manage factory trials, ensuring processes are robust, scalable, and cost-effective.


  • Support post-trial evaluations and refine specifications to ensure commercial viability.


  • Create and maintain process documentation, including trial reports, HACCP, and process flow diagrams.


  • Collaborate with procurement and operations to ensure appropriate raw materials and equipment are in place.


  • Assist with product and process improvements for cost savings, quality, or sustainability gains.


  • Ensure that all processes comply with food safety, legality, and customer requirements.


  • Support customer audits, site visits, and presentations where required.


The Successful Applicant



  • Experience in a chilled or ambient food manufacturing environment is highly desirable.


  • Knowledge of factory trials, scaling-up processes, and HACCP principles.
  • Food Safety Level 3


  • Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.


  • Excellent communication skills - able to influence stakeholders at all levels.


  • Highly organised with strong project management skills and attention to detail.
