About the role:

We have a great opportunity for a Process Technician to join our Guildford - Sewage Treatment team. You do not need a background in the Water industry. We welcome applications from candidates outside of the sector, bringing fresh perspectives and ideas.

You will be part of the frontline operations team that covers the sewage treatment sites. This role is essential for the operation of our wastewater treatment works, ensuring the supply to our customers and environmental protection. Your tasks will include maintenance, operation, safety checks, and site cleanliness.

This is a frontline role that operates in all weather conditions, requiring a proactive and safety-conscious approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out scheduled maintenance on plant and equipment.
• Operating and cleaning plant and equipment.
• Responding to reactive jobs following equipment failure.
• Maintaining site cleanliness and safety/security checks.
• Adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Base Location: Guildford Sewage Treatment Works - GU1 1RU

Working Pattern: 38 hours, Monday-Friday, 7:30 am – 3:36 pm, plus standby, overtime, and training opportunities.

Candidate Profile:

• Self-motivated, disciplined, eager to learn, with a positive attitude.
