Shift based role- mixture of days & nights

As a Process Technician at our production site in Settle, North Yorkshire, you will be part of a business that takes pride in growing talent from within. What will the role look like?

As a Process Technician, you will be crucial to site production, operating state-of-the-art machinery daily. You’ll have the opportunity to generate ideas and implement improvements, be a problem solver, a technical expert, and a key contact for liquid processing. You’ll work as part of a passionate, quality-driven team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Support a safe, inclusive work environment and exemplify our character mindset
• Support continuous improvement using Lean tools
• Follow departmental KPIs, minimize and report losses
• Operate machinery and processing equipment
• Identify and address root causes of problems
• Manage processes and resolve failures
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions, and implement solutions
• Participate in the development of washing processes
• Ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards, including HACCP
• Handle nonconforming products based on pass/fail criteria
• Manage recipes, article numbers, and additives, understanding their functions
