A leading global dairy cooperative is seeking Technicians for its Process Operations department in Leeds. The role involves managing processing tasks, ensuring safety standards, and contributing to performance targets. Candidates should have experience in manufacturing, be strong communicators, and possess computer skills. This position offers a competitive salary and extensive benefits, including 26 days holiday and a pension scheme.
We are currently recruiting for 2 Technicians to work within the Process Operations Cottage Cheese department on a full time basis. The working hours for this role will be 42 hours per week, working on a shift rota of 4 on 4 off after training. During training you will be required to work within a Mon to Fri capacity. This role includes bookable holidays.
Reporting into the LCO Team Leader, the role will involve working as part of a closely knit team of skilled Technicians to achieve and surpass processing and production targets through the use of performance management tools and process confirmation.
The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate the correct leadership behaviours that a role of this nature demands. You will be a confident communicator and team player with strong attention to detail. Ideally, you will have experience in an operational role within a manufacturing or logistics environment with knowledge of lean tools and techniques. Computer skills are required with previous use of SAP and Microsoft Office advantageous.
