Process Technician

We are currently recruiting for a Process Technician to work within the Process Operations Department on a full time basis. The working hours for this role will be 42 hours per week, working on a shift Rota of 4on4off – 2D2N, this role Includes bookable holidays.

What will the role involve?

Reporting into the LCO Core Team Leader, the role will involve working as part of a closely knit team of skilled Technicians to achieve and surpass processing and production targets through the use of performance management tools and process confirmation.

Key responsibilities
  • Promotes and practices a strong safety culture amongst the team whilst upholding a high level of GMP and adhere to 5S standards.
  • Process order management using SAP systems.
  • Ensuring that company policies and procedures are maintained with regard to Food Safety, GMP, Customer Codes of Practice, Health & safety. Environment and operating practices.
  • Contributing to site Key Performance Indicators and Tactical Implementation Plans
What you’ll need in order to be successful in the role

The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate the correct leadership behaviours that a role of this nature demands. You will be a confident communicator and team player with strong attention to detail. Ideally, you will have experience in an operational role within a manufacturing or logistics environment with knowledge of lean tools and techniques. Computer skillsare required with previous use of SAP and Microsoft Office advantageous.

  • From Stourton we produce over 225 SKUs within 10 different product groups, such as Cravendale & BOB filtered milk, flavoured milk, creams, alcohol cream, custards and cottage cheese.
