A leading cleantech company is seeking a Process Technician to join their research and development team in Bristol. You will support the scale-up and industrialisation of advanced chemical recycling technology, with responsibilities including process development, plant design, and collaboration with R&D. Ideal candidates will have a background in Chemical or Process Engineering and a strong passion for sustainability.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years experience OR 3 years of industrial experience.
Industry experience in process optimisation.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent verbal and written English skills.
Passion for sustainability and circularity.
Located in or willing to relocate to Bristol.
Ability to work in fast-paced environments.
Experience in advanced materials or composites.
Health and safety training (IOSH/NEBOSH).
Knowledge in polymer chemistry and recycling technologies.
Background in pressurised systems.
Responsibilities
Support the scale-up of technology from laboratory to pilot plant.
Assist in developing prototypes and testing new processes.
Operate and monitor chemical processing units.
Conduct regular inspections and record process data.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Support mechanical process modifications.
Prepare samples for testing.
Create documentation including SOPs.
Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols.
