What you'll be doing:

As a Process Technician Apprentice, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day operation of a cutting-edge energy-from-waste facility. You'll learn how to:

• Operate boilers, turbines, and other plant equipment safely and efficiently
• Support start-ups, shutdowns, and emergency operations
• Record and analyse plant performance
• Investigate operational issues and assist with root cause analysis
• Work with maintenance and engineering teams to resolve faults and raise work requests
• Monitor material stocks and handle deliveries and waste collections

This is a hands-on, practical role with real responsibility from day one - and it only grows as you do.

What does the apprenticeship involve?

• Year 1: Based at CATCH in Stallingborough, you'll build a strong technical foundation. (We'll cover your travel, accommodation, and uniform.)
• Years 2 & 3: On-site at Ferrybridge, you'll apply your skills in a real-world environment, supported by our experienced team.
• Completion: You'll work toward a Level 3 Diploma in Engineering Maintenance and NVQ Level 3

By the end of your apprenticeship, you'll be a fully qualified Technician - with opportunities to grow your career across the enfinium group.

About you:

This role is ideal for someone who is:

• Curious about how things work
• Hands-on and not afraid to get stuck in
• Safety-conscious and team-oriented
• Ambitious to build a long-term career in engineering

You'll also need to be comfortable working at heights, in noisy or warm environments, and around rotating machinery - but don't worry, you'll be fully trained and supported throughout.
