Process Technician Bridgend

Monday to Thursday 08:30 - 17:00

Friday 08:30 - 15:30

We re proud to connect people to clean water and we re looking for a proactive Process Technician to support our engineering team in delivering timely and cost-effective process improvements that drive operational excellence.

What you ll be doing:

  • Support the Process Engineer with improvement projects and hands-on solutions.

  • Carry out regular process measurements, including torque checks and time & motion studies.

  • Develop, improve and maintain process equipment, jigs, and fixtures.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot routine process issues quickly and effectively.

  • Liaise with departments and suppliers to drive business improvements.

  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure best-practice health & safety procedures.

  • Gather and analyse data to identify cost-saving opportunities.

  • Document routine manufacturing processes and support with technical reporting.

What we re looking for:

Essential:

  • Time-served, ONC/HNC qualified or equivalent in a relevant discipline.

  • Previous experience in process engineering, ideally within a lean manufacturing environment.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Awareness of HSE and quality standards.

  • Strong organisational skills with a practical, hands-on approach.

Desirable:

  • Experience with 3D CAD (preferably Inventor).

  • PLC fault-finding skills.

  • Robotics, pneumatics, and automation experience.

  • Skilled in lathe and milling operations.

  • Familiarity with continuous improvement techniques and lean tools.
