Job Description

A global pharmaceutical company is recruiting Process Technicians for Flu manufacturing as part of a new campaign.

The ideal candidates will be talented, adaptable, and capable of operating to the highest standards with a strong focus on safety, quality, and compliance. They will play a key role in establishing new operational areas within Manufacturing.

The role involves 12-hour day and night shifts, working 4 days on, 4 days off, or 2 days and 2 nights.

Duration: 4-5 months

Salary: £20.36 to £22.15 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Follow all departmental SOPs and Manufacturing Instructions (MIs).
  • Ensure proper control, monitoring, and documentation of activities, completed accurately and signed off by relevant personnel.
  • Perform final documentation review and sign-off to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain compliance with Health and Safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment.
  • Update existing SOPs and MIs, perform reviews, and initiate new documentation as needed.
  • Maintain and promote a cGMP-compliant culture, uphold high standards of housekeeping and safety, and apply principles of Lean Manufacturing, Problem Solving, 5S, Waste Elimination, and Energy Efficiency for Continuous Improvement.
  • Contribute to team objectives, support colleagues, and communicate effectively with other teams, customers, and suppliers.
  • Attend mandatory training and keep personal training records up to date. Develop new skills and competencies to meet current and future business needs.
  • Work safely and in compliance with all relevant UK legislation, policies, guidelines, and site procedures related to Health, Safety, and Environment.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment or a Science Degree.
  • Basic knowledge of GMP.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude or knowledge of electronic/mechanical equipment.
  • Science qualifications are considered.
