Contract type: Permanent
Full/Part-time: Full-time
Hours: 38 hours per week plus standby rota (additional payment)
Salary: From £26,000 per annum (depending on skills and experience)

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us as a Process Technician at our Maple Lodge Sewage Treatment Works site.

The role involves performing front-line activities such as operation, sampling, testing, routine checks, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure service delivery meets standards.

This includes planned and preventative maintenance of equipment and daily sampling to ensure effluent quality and process data compliance.

No two days are the same, offering a challenging and rewarding environment. Full training and support will be provided on health & safety, technical, and process aspects.

This position offers a chance to contribute to Thames Water's environmental efforts by reducing pollution from our sites.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Carrying out scheduled maintenance to improve plant resilience.
  2. Conducting daily sampling rounds for compliance.
  3. Performing weekly environmental and fire alarm checks.
  4. Operating and cleaning plant and equipment safely.
  5. Responding to reactive jobs following equipment failure.
  6. Maintaining site cleanliness and security checks.
  7. Adhering to all health and safety guidelines.

Location: Maple Lodge, Rickmansworth, WD3 9SQ
Work pattern: 38 hours Monday-Friday, standby rota with additional pay
Essential: Full, valid UK driving license
