Process Shift Operator
Location: Hampshire, UK
Contract: Permanent, Full-time

Role Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Process Shift Operator to join a leading energy sector employer. You will play a key role in maintaining safe, efficient, and environmentally compliant operations during shift work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough written and verbal shift handovers to ensure continuity of operations and safety awareness.

  • Promote and uphold safe working practices and environmental responsibility among the team.

  • Supervise and enforce the Permit to Work system, especially for remote sites, ensuring all work activities are properly authorised and safe to proceed.

  • Monitor ongoing work to maintain safe working conditions and proper use of PPE.

  • Actively participate in emergency response activities as required by company plans.

  • Adhere strictly to health, safety, environmental, and operational procedures and policies.

  • Identify and report any unsafe conditions or behaviours that could compromise safety or environmental standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • GCSE-level education or equivalent.

  • Ideally hold NVQ Level 2 in Process Operations.

  • NEBOSH International Technical Certificate in Oil and Gas Operational Safety is desirable.

  • Computer literate with good literacy and numeracy skills.

  • Hold a valid UK driving licence.

  • Previous operational or maintenance experience within the Oil & Gas industry is preferred.
