As the energy landscape evolves, our client is at the forefront of this change, driving innovation within the Bioenergy sector. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Process Safety Engineer to join their team, championing safety and compliance across their bioenergy projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Champion a culture of Process Safety Excellence across bioenergy operations.
• Lead process risk assessments and develop safety operating practices to support plant operations.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, including PSSR, COMAH, and DSEAR, across all project sites.
• Coordinate with insurance partners and regulatory bodies to ensure all equipment and processes meet required safety standards.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent field with a focus on process safety.
• Certification in relevant safety disciplines, such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of PSSR, COMAH, and DSEAR regulations.
• Experience in process safety within the bioenergy, chemical, or energy sectors.
