Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Process Worker to join our team in the food production industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This position requires a strong understanding of food safety protocols, basic mathematical skills, and mechanical knowledge to operate equipment effectively.

James Grace Associates are currently recruiting for an experienced process room operator.

Experience within the process/FMCG/syrup room environment is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Mixing
  • Testing of the products
  • Making several batches a day
  • Using / writing SOP’s
  • FLT experience
  • Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure efficient processing of food products.
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain compliance with HACCP standards throughout the production process.
  • Conduct regular checks on equipment to identify any mechanical issues and perform basic troubleshooting as necessary.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organised work environment, following all health and safety guidelines.
  • Accurately measure ingredients and monitor production output using basic maths skills.
  • Assist in the packaging and labelling of finished products, ensuring all items are correctly identified and stored.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food production or a similar role is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong understanding of food safety practices, including HACCP principles.
  • Basic mathematical skills for measuring ingredients and calculating production metrics.
  • Mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot production equipment effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team setting.

· Experience working in a syrup room or within a process environment

· 2-3 years of experience within food industry

· Able to work 4 on 4 off shifts/night shifts

· Understanding of KPI’S

· Knowledge of food safety requirements

· Familiar with warehousing performance measurements

Hours and pay:

· 4 on 4 off shifts

· 2 days and 2 nights
