Duties and responsibilities

You will be required to perform the following:

  1. Lead the execution of capital projects according to scope, schedule, and budget.
  2. Manage the team responsible for executing the projects and provide guidance to ensure successful completion.
  3. Leverage expertise in petrochemical projects and provide appropriate actions for the team during all project phases.
  4. Provide technical and project management oversight during design, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup, and project closeout.
  5. Ensure timely resolution of issues arising in all phases of project development.
  6. Implement safety measures during project execution.
  7. Apply company initiatives in projects and business processes within the division.
  8. Be familiar with company Key Performance Indices (KPIs) and work towards achieving them for division projects.
  9. Prepare and review monthly project performance reports covering design status, material procurement, construction progress, milestones, commitments, payments, charges, and variances.

Minimum requirements

  1. Hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a recognized and accredited program. An advanced degree is a plus.
  2. Obtain a PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification.
  3. Have 5-10 years of experience in refinery projects.
