Duties and responsibilities

You will be required to perform the following:

  1. Lead the execution of capital projects according to scope, schedule, and budget.
  2. Manage the team in executing projects, providing guidance and directives to ensure successful completion.
  3. Leverage expertise in petrochemical projects and provide appropriate actions for the team in all project phases.
  4. Provide technical and project management oversight during design, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup, and project close-out.
  5. Ensure timely resolution of issues arising in all project phases.
  6. Ensure safety measures are implemented during project execution.
  7. Implement company initiatives in projects and business processes within the division.
  8. Be familiar with company Key Performance Indices (KPIs) and work towards achieving them for division projects.
  9. Prepare and review monthly project performance reports covering design, procurement, construction, milestones, commitments, payments, charges, and variances.

Minimum requirements

  1. Hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a recognized and approved program. An advanced degree is preferred.
  2. Obtain a PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification.
  3. Have 5-10 years of experience in refinery projects.
