Night Shift Details

Sunday, Monday, Tuesday 17:00 - 05:00 (rotating to Wednesday, Thursday, Friday after 6 weeks)

Pay Rates

Overtime is after 36 hours/week x1.25

Night shift rate: £18.36/hour

Role Responsibilities
  • Set up tubular heat exchangers for line start-up
  • Perform product changeovers and caustic washouts as needed
  • Manage metal detector reject waste
  • Prepare for line start-up: return pigging spheres, check pipe work, adjust heat exchanger settings, liaise with Sauce Cooking Coordinator to ensure product readiness
  • Communicate with the Sauce Cooking Coordinator regarding potential issues
  • Execute product changeovers, including cleaning and transferring products efficiently
  • Monitor cooking processes and make adjustments for correct temperatures
  • Complete relevant documentation and sign-off on product waste
  • Assist in improving line efficiencies based on production plans
  • Report faults using Mainsaver software
  • Resolve minor mechanical and procedural issues
Candidate Requirements
  • Experience in a food manufacturing environment is advantageous
  • Knowledge of tubes is beneficial
