Position Summary

The Process Planning Specialist will lead the design, coordination, and optimization of production workflows across seed manufacturing operations. This role ensures efficient resource utilization, compliance with agronomic standards, and alignment with global supply chain goals. The ideal candidate brings a blend of analytical rigor, hands-on production experience, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain production process maps, schedules, and workflow documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Quality, Logistics) to streamline operations
  • Analyze production data to identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions
  • Support lean manufacturing initiatives and drive continuous improvement projects
  • Coordinate material planning, labor allocation, and equipment utilization
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and agricultural regulations
  • Contribute to ERP system updates and production planning modules

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Agronomy, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
  • 35 years of experience in process planning, production coordination, or manufacturing operations
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and scheduling tools
  • Experience in seed production or agricultural manufacturing
  • Excellent communication and project management abilities
