We are seeking a process/piping CAD capability lead for our growing Nuclear and Net Zero Market. This position would be based from one of our core UK offices (ideally Glasgow or Bristol, but other locations across the UK will be considered) with a flexible mix of home-working and office time. Full-time or part-time applicants are welcome.

Are you a lead CAD designer who thrives on collaboration and organizing others? Are you excited by complex projects and providing leadership, setting up projects, and guiding CAD designers and engineering teams? Do you want to develop a group-wide CAD strategy and lead CAD initiatives?
If so, you could support renewable energy projects and UK nuclear projects, managing multiple projects simultaneously. Adaptability is essential!

Your Purpose:
You will work alongside engineering teams to prepare designs, 3D models, and detailed drawings that meet project and client requirements. You will be responsible for developing our cross-market piping CAD strategy, expanding our capability, and establishing a centre of expertise in this rapidly growing market.

You should have experience producing designs and drawings according to engineering codes and practices, with leadership experience or a desire to lead. Comfort working in dynamic environments and a drive to contribute to business success are essential.
You should be able to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels, internally and externally, and have a proven track record of working effectively as part of a project team.
Supporting Quality Assurance processes through reviews and presenting findings to clients is expected, with experience spanning the entire project lifecycle.
