Job summary

PQ Silicas UK Limited is recruiting a Process Packer to safely operate and set up the packing system across multiple plant areas on a rotating shift. You will work under supervision to meet KPIs, maintain GMP standards and record batch documentation.

The role requires relevant industrial experience and flexibility for 24-hour shift patterns; FLT license is desirable to support material handling. All information remains confidential under EEO guidelines.

Qualifications

• Relevant industrial experience is mandatory.
• Experience with 24-hour continuous shift work is preferable.
• Units and elements of CIA Process Plant Operations or NVQ Level 1 are desirable.
• Current FLT powered hand truck license is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up packing system per standard instructions.
• Work under Microniser Operator guidance to meet KPIs.
• Follow packing guidelines for sampling, labeling, weight control, additives and rework per GMP.
• Comply with safety, enviro, and company standards; participate in audits, reporting, and housekeeping.
• Communicate clearly and timely; complete batch docs and handovers, and share knowledge.
• Clean down equipment and packing areas, maintaining GMP.
