What will I be doing?

Supporting both OE and Spares, your primary role will be preparing and painting aerospace components within a new and busy Paint facility. There will be safe lifting and loading of the parts.

  1. Prepare, paint, and finish coating to aircraft parts and assemblies
  2. Touch-up paint where required
  3. Requirement to rotate through shifts - Days, Bridging and Nights
  4. Good problem solving skills to diagnose equipment malfunctions and to determine need for adjustment or repairs.
  5. Participation in continuous improvement activities to improve operational processes and internal customer satisfaction.
  6. Maintain high standards of 5's / housekeeping, while ensuring safe working practices.

You'll need to be a self-motivated individual capable of working unsupervised and as part of a team. A flexible and pro-active attitude is also fundamental.

Job Requirements

What do I need to succeed in the role?

  1. Relevant experience in an (ideally aerospace) Paint shop is essential
  2. The ability to read and understand complex drawings, engineering layouts, and procedures in order to determine methods and sequences of operations needed to specified requirements.
  3. The ability to use precision and specialist measuring equipment.
  4. Must be able to utilize and maintain painting equipment
  5. Must be physically capable of wearing a respirator. Training will be given for the correct usage and care of respirators.
