Responsibilities

• Operate vertical and horizontal extrusion presses safely and efficiently.
• Load and move raw materials in line with safe working procedures.
• Pack, stack, and label finished products accurately.
• Meet daily production targets.
• Carry out routine quality checks and report any faults or production concerns.
• Ensure operating conditions are correct before commencing production.
• Complete production records accurately as required.
• Remove production waste and maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Follow all company policies relating to health and safety, PPE, hygiene, and operational procedures.

Process Operator - Extrusions

• Location: Chester, Cheshire
• Contract Type: Permanent
• Salary: £30,775 per annum
• Hours: 36 hours per week

Shift Pattern

• Monday to Thursday: 6:00 am – 3:00 pm
• Monday to Thursday: 3:00 pm – 12:00 am
• Flexibility required to work rotating shifts as business needs dictate.

The Role we are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Process Operator to join their Extrusions department in Chester.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate vertical and horizontal extrusion presses safely and efficiently.

Security Clearance

The successful applicant will be required to undertake Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance before commencing employment.
