The role

This position involves biscuit manufacturing, including mixing raw materials, baking, and second-process operations such as chocolate enrobing.

Key accountabilities

  • Check programme/oven profiles and recipe sheets
  • Ensure correct programme entry into the computerised system
  • Refill hoppers and prepare pre-mix batches
  • Verify all guards are fitted and ingredients are ready before downloading recipes
  • Monitor webs and tracking, report faults
  • Set up and operate equipment such as rotary moulder, baking oven, cream mixing, and chocolate enrober, making adjustments as needed
  • Maintain chocolate supply and monitor product standards
  • Record colour standards and control sheets accurately
  • Keep work area and equipment clean and tidy

Skills & experience

  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to demonstrate right to work in the UK
  • Numerate, literate, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of hygiene principles in food manufacturing (training provided)
