About the Role

Job Title: Process Operator

Contract: 6 months - likely extension

Location: Deeside

Pay: £14.20 per hour

Hours: 12-hour shifts (6am-6pm)

Days: Monday - Thursday

SRG is partnered with a global medical products and technologies company focused on solutions for managing chronic conditions, with leading positions in advanced wound care, ostomy care, continence care, and infusion care. We are seeking a Process Operator to join our team.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for the effective operation of production lines, troubleshooting to ensure smooth processes, and maintaining high quality standards. You will perform changeovers, complete routine QC/QA procedures, and undertake associated administrative tasks. You will also embrace and promote the company's core mission, values, and priorities.

Role Responsibilities
  1. Ensure daily activities are completed in accordance with quality standards.
  2. Operate and troubleshoot production lines, applying CI tools such as RCA and 5WHY.
  3. Assist with changeovers and machine setups.
  4. Develop effective communication within the team and shift.
  5. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  6. Complete line sheets, maintain Tier boards, and manage shadow boards and daily TPM activities.
  7. Understand and be accountable for line performance data and complete batch records accurately.
  8. Ensure compliance with GMP, EHS, and other regulatory standards.
  9. Identify and pursue continuous improvement opportunities.
  10. Conduct first piece inspections, line clearance, and in-process checks.
  11. Verify materials and manage material transfers and reconciliation.
  12. Maintain training compliance and mentor team members.
Skills & Experience
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change.
  • A sense of urgency and understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of regulatory, environmental, and safety standards.
  • Competency in SAP, MS Office, and similar software.
  • Ability to interpret financial data and respond effectively.
  • Technical and mechanical aptitude relating to manufacturing equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications/Education
  • GCSEs or relevant vocational qualifications.
  • Technical/analytical skills and manufacturing experience, preferably in medical devices or pharmaceuticals.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • SAP experience.
