Job summary

Ecolab is seeking a Production Associate for the day shift at our Llantrisant site in Wales. You will manufacture agarose resin products to pharmaceutical quality standards and support ongoing production activities.

Key duties include following SOPs, maintaining safety and quality, and assisting the shift team with handovers. This role requires manual handling, strict adherence to procedures, and reliable transport to site.

Qualifications

  • Experience working in a production environment.
  • Able to manually handle raw materials and equipment up to 25 kg.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Access to own transport.
  • No immigration sponsorship available for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture agarose resin products in line with ISO9001 and pharmaceutical quality standards, ensuring right-first-time batch production.
  • Follow approved risk assessments, work instructions, SOPs and batch records, with no deviation from defined process steps.
  • Undertaking any other reasonable tasks as required by the Management of the company.
  • Operate and monitor automated and semi-automated processes and equipment, responding to process conditions to maintain product quality.
  • Work strictly within site Health & Safety standards, including safe handling of hazardous chemicals and full adherence to PPE requirements.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping, cleanliness and in-process testing in a controlled manufacturing environment.
  • Identify and escape process, safety or quality issues immediately to prevent impact on product or operations.
  • Support shift team performance through clear communication and structured handovers.

Production Associate – Day Shift

Ecolab, Purolite Resins, the world leader in resin-based separation, purification and extraction technology, is seeking a Production Associate - day shift at our state-of-the-art manufacturing site in Llantrisant, Wales!

We manufacture products which help our customers around the globe, mainly in pharmaceutical and life science sectors, with technology which are critical to safe manufacture of their products. It’s an exciting business which helps make the world cleaner, safer and healthier.

We are seeking a Production Associate to engage in product development, product line maintenance, and test method maintenance activities.

How you’ll make an impact

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with lab equipment (full training provided)
  • Experience working with hazardous chemicals (full training provided)
  • Practical understanding of chemistry
  • Production experience in a pharmaceutical, chemical, laboratory or food environment is desirable

The position is 4 days on, 4 days off, 06:00am - 18:00pm.
