Job summary

Cytiva, part of Danaher, is seeking production operators in the UK to manufacture and assemble products for life sciences. You will work in shift patterns, operate machinery, and contribute to continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual, motivated and flexible, with a positive attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team.
• Literate, numerate and highly attentive to detail, with a willingness to learn Lean Manufacturing principles and Kaizen.
• Prepared to work unsociable shift patterns and able to stand for 8- or 12-hour shifts.
• Experience with machine operating or working in a clean room environment.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture, inspect, test and package products to quality standards.
• Carry out assembly tasks, including tubing fittings and boxing products, safely.
• Meet production targets and support improvements to cut costs and boost efficiency.

What you’ll do:

Manufacture, inspect, test and package products in line with quality, health and safety standards, ensuring all products meet required specifications and cosmetic standards.

Carry out precise, delicate and repetitive assembly tasks, including fitting tubing and connectors, boxing products, and operating machinery or workstations safely and efficiently.

Meet production targets, support production priorities, and contribute to continuous improvement by identifying ways to increase efficiency, reduce costs and improve processes.
