Qualifications

Department:

  • Operate as a member of a team in the Raw Board department.
  • Ensure that the work place, equipment, vehicles and machinery are maintained in a clean and tidy condition.
  • Undertake a comprehensive training programme to be able to run every aspect of the raw board department and attend any further training courses as required.
  • Complete shift reports detailing production, to include any specific data required relevant to shift.
  • Observe and comply with all safety precautions as detailed in the Health and Safety procedures and to ensure that safety equipment is in good order and used at all times.
  • Ensure that the operation and related tasks are conducted in a safe working manner and that any incidents/ accidents and hazards are duly reported.
  • To keep up to our health and safety standards and wearing the correct PPE such as safety helmets and safety glasses.
  • Observe and comply with the Company Quality Systems as detailed in the Quality Manual.
  • Liaise with the Shift Supervisor and relevant engineering department as to the condition of the production equipment or regarding issues.
  • When required, provide support for holiday / sickness / training / maintenance cover, to help maximise production output and efficiency while following the Line specific requirements.

Our Requirements

  • Reasonable standard of secondary education.
  • Fork Lift Truck Licence however training can be provided in the first 6 months of employment.
  • Basic standard of IT skills and competent use of Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Expereince working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Able to work 12 hour shifts days and nights.
