Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Process Operative

We are seeking a Process Operative to join our Process Department at the Manchester Dairy within Müller Milk & Ingredients. The role involves ensuring the smooth operation of raw milk intake, fresh milk processing, cream processing, cream export reclaim, and chemical offload areas. Additionally, the role includes conducting lab tests to analyze, record, and report results related to processing.

Contract: Full Time (40.25 hours per week)

Salary: £32,096.64 per annum

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (2 days, 2 nights) 7-7

Location: Manchester

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Checking and recording all relevant paperwork
• Sampling and testing raw products
• Loading tankers
• Liaising with other production departments
• Following Standard Operating Procedures
• Operating equipment and processes effectively, including asset care, maximizing output, adhering to plans, reducing waste, and saving costs
• Undertaking additional duties as required
• Quality assurance

Experience:

• Continuous improvement
• Quality assurance
• Manufacturing experience – ideally in a food environment
• Production experience – ideally in a food environment
