Job description

Our client is a global manufacturing organisation based in Melton Mowbray. Due to increases in orders they are currently looking to recruit a number of Process Operatives to join their team.

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Process Operatives to join our clients business. This role involves working in their Production facility, assisting with the manufacturing process, and ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating and maintaining production machines and equipment.
  • Following production schedules and procedures.
  • Loading raw materials into machines
  • Driving Counterbalance Forklift trucks
  • Ensuring adherence to quality control standards.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Assisting with other duties as required.

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Counterbalance Forklift license would be beneficial however our client is willing to give training.

These positions are temporary to permanent across various day and night shifts with our client looking to bring in new people who are looking to develop their career. Many of the current management, quality and engineering teams started their career as Manufacturing Operatives and the opportunity for development is endless.

You will also receive a market leading progression plan with the ability to increase your earnings to above 40,000 within 3 years.
