Job Purpose

Are you ready to make a difference using your technical expertise and scientific insight?

As Process Operations Lead, you will be the key technical and scientific expert, ensuring assets perform efficiently and compliantly, supporting financial, regulatory, customer satisfaction, and broader business goals.

You will manage performance metrics like UWWTD, PPC, UV, WRA, and Flow, and apply standards such as HACCP and self-reporting, driving continuous improvement across operational activities.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Analyse operational data, identify issues, implement corrective actions, and ensure health, safety, and regulatory standards are maintained.
  • Lead the development and implementation of action plans to meet environmental compliance and internal performance targets.
  • Collaborate with Field Technical Officers, Process Controllers, and Operators to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant performance.
  • Provide technical and scientific guidance to optimize wastewater treatment assets, including reviewing schedules, monitoring alarms, and identifying improvements.
  • Support team development through training, sharing expertise, and promoting best practices in process optimization and asset management.
  • Contribute to risk planning, regulatory reporting, and key projects shaping the long-term success of wastewater operations.
