Job summary

Experis - ManpowerGroup in Worthing is hiring a Packaging / Manufacturing Technician on a 12-month contract. Onsite role with rolling 2x12 hour days and nights, followed by a 4-day break. Salary starts at £15.49/hour PAYE, increasing to £17.21/hour after 12 weeks.

The role focuses on packaging products to GMP standards, maintaining quality, and meeting output targets within strict timeframes.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent) preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing/packaging environment preferred.
• GMP or working within regulated environments advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Ability to follow procedures and work accurately.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable with excellent timekeeping and attendance.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a member of the packaging team in line with SOPs.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate as a member of the packaging team in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Carry out packaging activities in compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards
• Ensure all products are produced to required specifications and within set timeframes
• Deliver planned output targets while maintaining quality and efficiency

• Follow all site health and safety requirements at all times
• Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required
• Maintain clean, organised work areas in line with 5S standards
• Keep training records up to date and complete required training
• Adhere to strict timekeeping, including shift start/end times and breaks

Experience Required

• GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent) preferred
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment (preferred but not essential)
• Understanding of GMP or working within regulated environments is advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Ability to follow procedures and work accurately
