Job Title Process Manager (bakery)| Location Watnall (NG16)

So what’s it all about?

As our next Process Manager, you will have a passion for all things operations and process, with demonstrable experience gained within a bakery environment.

You will be a huge food enthusiast with attention to detail, and you would relish the opportunity to see your products on the shelves of some of the major retailers UK-wide.

You will work collaboratively across all functions to influence all colleagues on the importance of process control & maintaining Hovis standards. Your remit will be to ensure that the quality of the product is to a high standard to drive consistency & reduce quality complaints.

You are not the type to lack organisational skills and process focus. This isn't your average 9-5, as no two days are alike. You will be passionate about engaging colleagues and will be comfortable leading and influencing at all levels within the business.

As part of the site senior leadership team, you will be part of driving change at pace whilst working towards a common goal for the site.

As our next Process Manager, you will lead on new product development, existing product development and all product launches at site alongside bill of materials management, waste reduction & yield improvement.

The Key Requirements...

  • Educated to degree level with a food specialism or equivalent (or has relevant work experience)
  • Minimum 3-5 years of process/operational management experience within a Bakery/Food Manufacturer.
  • Experience of NPD & EPD as all product launches at site will be within your remit
  • Strong leadership & influencing skills
