Job summary

PepsiCo UK is seeking a Process Lead to eliminate losses on equipment and drive standard problem-solving tools across the line. The role focuses on hands-on floor work, coaching line teams, and delivering improvements in process capability and control.

You will lead change management and validation, benchmark best practices, and apply reliability data to drive continuous loss elimination. The position offers competitive pay and a broad benefits package across sites in the UK.

Qualifications

  • Spend 80% of the time on the factory floor.
  • Become a technical expert for a designated process E2E.
  • Coach and collaborate with the line teams, and with site and regional equipment or process owners.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in line daily meetings and execute the daily plan, including reporting on results for the previous 24 hours.
  • Centerline (CL) completion and compliance
  • Changeover (CO) adherence to plan and critiques
  • Identify, prioritize, and eliminate process losses
  • Build the process capability and control
  • Lead the change management (CM) and validation processes
  • Lead and build the capability of process failure technical troubleshooting
  • Lead the process of benchmarking and reapplication
  • Own critical daily management systems, e.g., Centerline, Changeover, Change management
  • Share and reapplying learnings across processes, modules, and plants
  • Use reliability engineering (RE) and data analysis tools to drive centerline and loss elimination
  • Develop himself through participating in corporate and external training
  • Take part in planned stops and rapid changeovers (RCOs) flowing to the line, as needed

With sites across the UK, including our Quaker mill in Cupar and Doritos factory in Coventry, we’re also home to one of the world’s largest crisp factories in Leicester.

The role of the process lead is to eliminate process losses on equipment or areas, to support the line team to create process standards, and to coach on using standard tools to perform problem solving.

Responsibilities
  • Actively participating in line daily meetings and in the execution of the daily plan, including reporting on the following results for the previous 24 hours
  • Centerline (CL) completion and compliance
