Job summary

Russell Taylor is exclusively recruiting for a Project Lead in Ellesmere Port for an international engineering and manufacturing business. You will own a portfolio of new process development, technology and CAPEX projects to shape future manufacturing capability.

We seek an experienced engineer or project professional with a track record of delivering projects in manufacturing or R&D environments. The role is onsite with circa 3 weeks travel annually.

Qualifications

Experience delivering engineering, manufacturing, process or R&D projects.
Exposure to CAPEX and project budgeting.
Understanding of Stage Gate, PMO or structured project methodologies.
Strong stakeholder and communication skills.
Hands-on, practical approach to problem solving.

Responsibilities

Own multiple new process, technology and capex projects from concept to implementation.
Lead projects through Stage Gate/PMO processes and trials.
Develop and defend CAPEX proposals and investment cases.
Work with internal teams and suppliers to deliver solutions.
Use data and DOE to support decision making and improvements.
Provide technical support to manufacturing and operations teams.
