Job summary

Cargill PLC is offering a 27-month apprenticeship in the Ag & Trading enterprise, based at the Brocklebank and Seaforth sites in Merseyside. You will join the Crush & Refinery process team, training in science manufacturing with on-the-job learning.

Starting salary £22,228 per year, with potential to advance beyond £60k as training progresses. Day shifts with possible future shift work; full-time apprenticeship with ongoing development and progression.

Qualifications

• GCSE English & Maths grade 4+ required, plus science GCSE or higher.
• Level 3 Process Industry Manufacturing Technician apprenticeship.
• Training delivered online as part of Cogent Skills programme.

Responsibilities

• Train towards and demonstrate competency in the safe operation of process equipment.
• Perform in-process quality control and analytical checks.
• Support front-line maintenance and housekeeping duties.
• Maintain quality systems and operational logs accurately.
• Keep training records to support apprenticeship progress.
