The Vacancy

Binnies, an RSK Group company, is looking for a Process Engineer (Water Non-Infrastructure) to join our @one Alliance.

What will you be doing as our new Process Engineer?

As a Process Engineer in our Water Non-Infrastructure team, you'll collaborate with the project design team to develop process solutions that optimize plant performance, utilize standard designs, and adhere to @one engineering design standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Design water/wastewater treatment plants and systems that meet Anglian Water's goals for customer service, environmental impact, and efficiency. Produce technical deliverables including:
• Technical schedules and data sheets.
• Engineering calculations (hydraulic, pump, mass balance, RICS, etc.).
• Specifications for engineering subcontracts.
• Coordinate with supply chain and analyze technical bids for process equipment.

• Oversee process calculations, hydraulics, unit processes, pump and capacity calculations, and technical bid analysis.

• Communicate effectively across relevant levels to ensure technical excellence.
• Proactively escalate issues impacting time, cost, or quality.
• Support health & safety standards, ensuring designs comply with CDM Regulations and industry standards.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines for seamless project integration.

About you:

You should hold a degree in water/wastewater process engineering or a related field and have experience in process engineering within water/wastewater and biosolids treatment.

Strong communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills are essential. You should demonstrate excellent IT skills and the ability to deliver high-quality process engineering solutions consistently.
