Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and participate in engineering projects to improve plant performance
  • Monitor daily production and create process flow diagrams
  • Design and specify plant processes for efficiency and safety
  • Prepare proposals, reports, cost estimates, and process documentation
  • Introduce innovative, safer, and cost-effective techniques
  • Manage engineering tasks within schedule and budget
  • Maintain current technical knowledge to keep the plant competitive
  • Collaborate across departments, plants, and suppliers to share best practices
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to operators and junior engineers
  • Resolve complex troubleshooting issues using your process expertise
What You Bring to the Table:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, ABE, Mechanical, or related Engineering field
  • 5-7 years of engineering experience in manufacturing
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of chemical unit operations and Process Safety Management (PSM)
  • Preferred experience with:
    • Corn Wet Milling or Food Manufacturing
    • Gas or steam dryers, rotary vacuum filters, dewatering presses, centrifuges
    • Pollution control devices like scrubbers, stacks, or RTOs
