Job Description:

My client is seeking a Senior Production Process Design Engineer to join their Process Engineering team. The role focuses on transitioning miniature, precision electronic components from prototype to mass production. Responsibilities include developing, configuring, and optimizing production processes from concept to certification and improvement.

  • Experience in production process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of process control techniques deployment.
  • Knowledge of T.M.S and/or M.T.M.
  • CAD or AutoCAD skills.
  • Familiarity with modern manufacturing ideas.
  • Project management experience in manufacturing settings.
  • Researching process improvements or designs.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to enhance production rates and quality.
  • Improving manufacturing processes and quality control measures.
  • Managing continuous improvement initiatives to meet cost, quality, and output goals.
  • Supporting and leading continuous improvement activities in manufacturing.
  • Introducing new products/processes into production, ensuring robustness and repeatability via PLM involvement.
  • Maintaining and improving housekeeping standards using the 5S approach.
