Job summary

CSL Seqirus in the United Kingdom is seeking a Process Engineer to support the Site Manufacturing Strategy. This technical role focuses on continuous improvement, reliability and delivery of plant modifications to hit performance targets.

You will act as a Subject Matter Expert for key unit operations, provide day‑to‑day support to manufacturing, monitor plant performance, identify improvements and execute end‑to‑end process changes up to commissioning of new equipment and projects.

Qualifications

• A degree in an engineering discipline is essential, preferably chemical engineering.
• Strong communications skills with customers and management.
• Action oriented skills, ability to learn on the fly.
• Good problem solving, technical learning, time management and prioritising skills.
• Ability to work as part of team.
• Ability to think independently.
• Knowledge of environmental, health and safety legislation is desired.
• Field experience including troubleshooting, start-up and commissioning of equipment is desired.
• Previous experience in FDA regulated facility and knowledge of cGMP standards, OSIsoft PI and PCS (process control system) software will be considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support to manufacturing operation
• Monitor plant performance
• Identify and implement process-related improvements
• Responsible for end-to-end process change procedures, handling a wide range of project - from process control software modifications to minor capital projects or participation on larger capital projects
• Troubleshooting of complex equipment related issues and development of engineering solutions to address identified problems
• Commissioning of new processes/equipment
