Process Engineer (Career Progression)

£45,000 - £50,000 + Mentorship & Training + Progression to Manager + 33 Days Holiday + Bonus + x6 Life Insurance

Commutable from Corby, Northampton, Peterborough, Leicester, Rugby, Wellingborough, Bedford, and surrounding areas

Are you a Process Engineer, CI Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, or similar looking to join a specialist manufacturer, where you will be heavily invested in through mentorship from the retiring General Manager and gain external qualifications, all whilst working towards progressing your career into management and playing a vital role in developing and overseeing process improvements?

This is a fantastic opportunity to propel your career within a rapidly growing industry-renowned manufacturer, who will invest in your skills through structured internal training and additional courses such as Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing, with opportunities to further progress within the company towards becoming a technical expert in a highly specialised field.

This company employs circa 90 employees and has been established for over five decades, renowned for their expert knowledge and specialised quality supply into aerospace and manufacturing. They are heavily investing in the R&D sector and growing 20% year on year, so now is an exciting time to get on board and be part of the team to propel your career.

Once trained, you will be responsible for optimising processes to improve efficiency and quality, as well as designing new processes. The role will be highly technical within a specialised industry, involving liaising with various departments. It is part of a succession plan to move into a management role within five years.

The role would suit someone with a background in Process Engineering, Continuous Improvements, or similar within a manufacturing environment. It is suitable for someone seeking development through additional training and good opportunities for career progression.

The Role:

  • Monday to Thursday 8:00 to 16:30, Friday 8:00 to 13:30
  • Process improvement, design, and optimisation of manufacturing plant
  • Progression and additional training opportunities available
