Mott MacDonald Bentley is recruiting for a Process Engineer to join the Anglian Alliance.

What will you be doing as our new Process Engineer?

In our Water Non-Infrastructure team, you will collaborate with the project design team to develop appropriate process solutions, focusing on optimized plant performance, standard designs, and engineering standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Design of Water/Wastewater Treatment Plants and water systems aligned with Anglian Water's goals for customers, environment, and efficiency. Deliverables include technical schedules, data sheets, engineering calculations (hydraulic, pump, mass balance, RICS), specifications for subcontractors, and technical bid analysis.
• Oversee process calculations, hydraulics, unit processes, pump and capacity calculations, and technical bids for third-party process equipment.
• Communicate effectively across all levels to ensure technical excellence.
• Escalate issues impacting time, cost, or quality proactively.
• Support health and safety standards, ensuring designs comply with CDM Regulations and industry standards.
• Coordinate with other engineering teams to ensure seamless interfaces and share best practices.

Skills, experience, and behaviors:

You should have a degree in water/wastewater process science or engineering and relevant experience in process engineering within water, wastewater, or biosolids treatment. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with excellent IT skills to deliver optimal process engineering solutions.
