Process Engineer

What you will enjoy doing

1. You will manage the technical ownership of coating processes, maintaining controls and documentation, and work with the plant team to investigate and address nonconformance using quality tools to identify, develop, and implement robust corrective actions.
2. You will collaborate with operational and quality teams to implement process improvements as needed.
3. You will provide expertise in the accurate costing and estimating of customer requirements, tooling design, project control, and coating process parameter development.
4. Participate in customer meetings and technical reviews on project progress, results, and development plans.
5. Maintain expertise with the process equipment in operations.
6. Organize and create documentation for new applications, including job instructions, job routers, job safety analyses, and standard operating procedures.
7. Produce product substantiation and validation reports documenting laboratory results on sectioned components and test pieces.
8. Support health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to achieve zero incidents and compliance.

What makes you great

• Higher education qualification in an engineering discipline (mechanical preferred).
• Some plant or project engineering experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective project management skills.
• Energy and drive for results, with attention to safety and quality.
• Desirable: metallographic laboratory experience, coating/materials/aerospace knowledge, CAD skills.
