Job summary

Nicholas Associates is seeking a Process Engineer to support Aerospace/Power & Energy manufacturing near Redditch. You will develop new methods of manufacture, author SOPs for New Product Introductions, and create detailed data cards.

The ideal candidate will have precision in documenting processes, familiarity with machining, EDM, multi-axis laser, welding or hydraulic press operations, and a solid background in manufacturing engineering. Flexible working options are discussed.

Qualifications

• Experience writing SOPs for high-precision manufacturing.
• Ability to create manufacturing data cards and NPI SOPs.
• Strong background in process engineering within manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Location: near Redditch
• Hours: Monday to Thursday (7.30am - 4.30pm) Friday (7.30am - 12.30pm) - 39 hours per week

Overview:

With manufacturing facilities located across the UK, we now require a Process Engineer to join the team. You will be part of the Process and Manufacturing Engineering teams with a key focus around creating new methods of manufacture, writing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for new product introduction and data cards.

The ideal candidate / Process Engineer may have some of the following experiences, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

Previous experience working with any of the following processes - EDM Machining, Multi axis laser, welding or forming metals with hydraulics presses.

Previously worked as a manufacturing engineer, process engineer, methods engineer, Technical author with a competency to write and define the manufacturing steps and create the technical process data cardsCommutable from:

Redditch, Alcester, Solihull, Bromsgrove, Coventry, Worcester, Birmingham and surrounding areas.
