JOB- Process Engineer
LOCATION- Stanford-le-Hope
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- 35,000 to 50,000 per annum (plus benefits)

Premier Engineering is working with a specialist manufacturing company based in Stanford-le-Hope who are looking to expand their technical team with a Process Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company operating in the chemical processing sector, offering a long-term career with development opportunities.

The Process Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
  • Degree qualified in Chemical Engineering or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in a process or production engineering role within a manufacturing or chemical plant environment
  • Strong understanding of chemical processing, plant operations, and continuous improvement
  • Familiarity with health & safety and environmental regulations (COMAH, DSEAR, HAZOP)
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and reporting abilities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and process modelling tools
The Process Engineer role will involve:
  • Supporting and improving chemical process operations across the site
  • Monitoring production performance and proposing efficiency improvements
  • Ensuring compliance with environmental, health and safety standards
  • Leading root cause analysis and corrective actions for process issues
  • Collaborating with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams
  • Assisting in the scale-up of new processes and product introductions
