Process Engineer

Location: Poole
Salary: 35-40k
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday - permanent

TeamJobs are working with a well-established manufacturer in Poole seeking a Process Development Engineer to join their team. This hands-on role will focus on continuous improvement across manufacturing processes, driving productivity and quality enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead process improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).

  • Optimise and document production processes, ensuring robust control plans are followed.

  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and support systematic troubleshooting on the shop floor.

  • Train and coach production teams on best practices and standard operating procedures.

  • Develop and validate new processes for equipment, tooling, and materials.

  • Analyse performance data, recommending and implementing improvements.

  • Lead or participate in CI projects using lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

About You:

  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical)

  • Experience with Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma.

  • Strong communicator with excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Confident leading meetings and driving action plans.
