Centrica plc is seeking a Process Engineer to support Process Engineering activities across Centrica Gas Infrastructure assets, with travel to onshore terminals and offshore assets.
You will ensure compliance with industry standards, contribute to risk assessments and MoC, and collaborate with Engineering, HSE and Projects teams. Flexible working includes some home working.
Assists the Process Engineering Technical Authority in delivering Process Engineering activities for Centrica Gas Infrastructure assets. Provides technical support to projects, asset operations & maintenance and technical compliance activities within discipline.
Woodland House, Hull – flexible working with a mix of office and home working
Accountable for management and completion of assigned technical work.
Provides Process Engineering support to Centrica Gas Infrastructure assets.
This will involve regular travel to the onshore terminal and offshore asset and will also involve overnight stays on the offshore asset in line with operational priorities.
Provides Process Engineering support and guidance to risk assessments.
Provides Process Engineering support for modifications / Management of Change (MoC) requests.
Provides Process Engineering support and guidance to the Engineering team.
Provides Process Engineering support and guidance to the HSE team.
Provides Process Engineering support and guidance to the Projects team.
Compliance with Centrica standards and procedures.
Complies with relevant industry regulations, standards and guidelines.
The job holder must possess knowledge of Process and Major Accident Hazard (MAH) practices and legislation, which would be underpinned by experience in relevant discipline in the Oil & Gas or associated MAH process industries.
Knowledge of engineering documentation, including block diagrams, PFDs, P&IDs/ELDs, Data Sheets, Cause & Effects, Hazardous Area Classification documentation.
Knowledge of relevant codes, standards and applicable regulations both statutory and company specific.
Good communication skills and ability to work with other teams within Centrica.
Good planning and organisation skills.
Manages own development.
