Job description

We are seeking a Process Engineer to lead process engineering activities across site operations. This role supports both existing and new plant and product developments—spanning FEED studies, process design, safety, and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare process documentation (P&IDs, data sheets, commissioning procedures, etc.) for new and modified installations.
  • Support and lead FEED studies and capital project planning.
  • Oversee installation, commissioning, and process scale-up to meet EHS, cost, and quality targets.
  • Lead and participate in HAZOPs, risk assessments, and design reviews.
  • Drive process improvements and troubleshoot manufacturing issues.
  • Develop and implement process safety management systems.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering
  • Chartered Engineer status (e.g., IChemE)
  • 5+ years in chemical/process industries, ideally on a COMAH site
  • Strong knowledge of DSEAR, CDM, and COMAH regulations
  • Experience with EPC projects and process safety practices
  • Effective communicator with strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills
