What will I be doing?

  • Technical support and control within the Special Process Group, initially focused on Surface Finishes / Chemical Processing.
  • Supporting and leading NADCAP audits ensuring compliance of the process area. Continuously developing procedures and practices in line with international requirements and regulations.
  • Typically, your role will be focused on Chemical Processing, routine testing, and quality control – including (but not limited to) chemical solutions analysis, testing etc.
  • Actively support the process areas with new developments of technology to increase quality and efficiency.
  • Ensure smooth flow of production by ensuring calibration, tooling suitability, equipment condition, tooling, and documentation is up to standard.
  • Interact with external suppliers and customers to support requirements of production.
  • Be flexible and willing to support other Special Process Departments.
  • The role will report directly to the Special Process Group Manager.

Job Requirements

What do I need to succeed in the role?

  • Have experience and knowledge of mechanical testing and heat treatment testing requirements (other Special Process knowledge is advantageous).
  • Have experience with audits, both preparation and practical.
  • Have experience with problem solving and quality control and adherence.
  • Time served Apprenticeship (or equivalent external training).
  • Have an interest in continuous improvement, with a history of active involvement in process improvements / technology improvements.
  • Generating critical operation sheets to support production parts.
